Josh Island is a singer-songwriter based in Luxembourg, known for soulful, catchy pop with folk influences and powerful live performances.
Josh Island needed a cohesive visual campaign for his Rockhal concert that could stretch across a wide range of formats, from large-format print to digital social content, whilst capturing his soulful, folk-pop aesthetic. The challenge was building a campaign-worthy visual system from a single hero photograph, ensuring the identity felt personal and artist-driven.

Starting from concert photography I captured at Josh Island's Rockhal performance, I developed a visual language rooted in high-contrast treatment and a muted, warm colour grade that reflects his soulful folk-pop sound.
I established a typographic system using Tanker for headlines and Bebas Neue Pro for supporting text, both chosen to feel contemporary without losing the organic, human quality of live music. This type system became the connective thread across all formats.
I then adapted the core visual into seven format variants: A2 poster, horizontal and vertical banners, social media story and feed formats, a digital ticket, and wristbands, each respecting a consistent visual hierarchy despite their scale differences.

The final campaign delivered a fully consistent visual identity across multiple formats, ready for print and digital production. The hero photography and typographic system ensured the materials felt uniquely Josh Island's, whilst remaining adaptable to the different aspect ratios and viewing distances each format demanded.
